King’s Ransom consists of four Professional Musicians:
Danny Shivers— Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals
Dominick Mammana— Bass Guitar and Vocals
Rick Webster— Drums and Percussion
Brian Bishop— Keyboards, Guitar, Saxophone, Flute, Vocals, Etc.
King's Ransom was founded by Lead Vocalist/Lead Guitarist Danny Shivers and they have been performing in the Delaware and Maryland Area since 1993. Danny and long-time friend and bassist Dominick Mammana have been performing together since 1985 when they formed Catch-22 back on their native Long Island, New York. "I can't imagine playing with anyone other than Dom," says Danny. "He's been with me since I was a kid!" Multi-instrumentalist Brian Bishop was asked to join after Danny saw him perform with his band Jettstream. Danny said, "He is a very talented musician, he plays so many instruments. When I saw him perform, I knew he would be perfect for this band. He gives us the versatility that we want, and he is really funny!" Drummer Rick Webster joined in early 2012. Rick has been peforming in the area for a long time with such acts as Tom Larsen's Blues Band and lower case blues. "When I told Dom that Rick was joining the band he couldn't believe it," Danny said. "We have admired his abilities for a long time, he is an exceptional drummer and a showman. We are excited to have him peforming with us."
"What I like the best about our band is that we all love to perform, and there are no egos," Danny says. "We are all equals and we have a lot of fun- we laugh a lot, especially at Brian. We are all about the same age, and we like a wide variety of music."
